I’m using @eunettehairessentials of course. I want to keep my hair hydrated while it’s in this “protective” style so I follow the same routine I have when my hair is loose.

It’s easy to get lazy but you have to remember your locs still need care.

Who knew we were starting a family tradition before we even became a family?

This is our third year going to the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival since we’ve been together. We first went in 2019 when we were looking for something to do for our first New Year’s Eve as a couple. Now here we are in 2023 taking our son and continuing the tradition.

If you’re in the Raleigh area, or feel like traveling, the @ncchineselanternfestival at @booth_amp in Cary is worth the trip. It’s a great time for couples, friends and families to get together and look at the beautiful lanterns, drink some hot cocoa, take memorable photos, and be festive.

It’s in town all the way until January 14 and I saw that they had a sold out night this past Saturday. So 👀 go ahead and get those tickets so you can experience this fun night.
