Who knew we were starting a family tradition befor Who knew we were starting a family tradition before we even became a family? This is our third year going to the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival since we’ve been together. We first went in 2019 when we were looking for something to do for our first New Year’s Eve as a couple. Now here we are in 2023 taking our son and continuing the tradition. If you’re in the Raleigh area, or feel like traveling, the @ncchineselanternfestival at @booth_amp in Cary is worth the trip. It’s a great time for couples, friends and families to get together and look at the beautiful lanterns, drink some hot cocoa, take memorable photos, and be festive. It’s in town all the way until January 14 and I saw that they had a sold out night this past Saturday.
