I pray that God shows you how good it can get and I pray that God shows you how good it can get and that you remember to give Him praise even if He doesn’t.

Sometimes we expect grand gestures from God so much that we forget that He does all things well and should be thanked for the little things too. This year I am taking the time to show more gratitude even when things don’t go my way. It’s easy to praise God when you’re on the mountain and the celebrations are flying left and right. But what about when life is stagnant or when you’re down in the valley? I want to be so strong in my faith this year that my praise isn’t circumstantial.

You with me?

Tap my link in my bio for more on gratitude.

I’m embracing and enjoying dressing my postpartu I’m embracing and enjoying dressing my postpartum body.

One thing about me, I ain’t never let a couple of extra pounds hold me back. I am going to find a way to be cute. As I navigate this new body, I’m remembering to give my body grace by loving it as it is and through the all of the transitions.

Some thoughts I’m keeping close on this journey:

1. This body is life-giving and provided a safe space for my son to develop and grow.

2. This body endured AND healed from trauma

3. And because of 1 and 2, this body is magical.

Mamas, remember beauty is not one size fits all. You set the parameters for beauty in your life. If you choose to focus on all the things your body is not right now, you won’t be able to recognize all the things your body is.

Get ready to be sick of seeing me get dressed because I’m choosing to love on my body and dressing for the season of life I’m in. And I’m challenging you to love on yourself a little bit more too. 💜

Check my stories for a little more inspiration.

Nugget went to his first birthday party this weeke Nugget went to his first birthday party this weekend. I think he had fun 🥴

I was nervous but he did so well. He didn’t even cry y’all. And I think we killed it as parents. 💁🏾‍♀️ The party was @marvel themed and I thought this hulk outfit was the cutest.

Who’s party can we come to next? We enjoyed ourselves.
